Simcere is a leading Chinese drug developer and manufacturer. Its sales network serves 1600 hospitals and 300 major distributors. It has four high-margin products, each with sales exceeding RMB 100 million. Hony made a growth capital investment in Simcere in early 2005 and helped grow the company through M&A and capital markets support. Under Hony's leadership Simcere has expanded its product line to include higher-margin formulated drugs, has made acquisitions of proprietary formulations, and listed on NYSE in April 2007.

Kebao Boloni (2005)

Kebao Boloni is China 's leading high-end integrated furnishings designer and producer. Boloni offers customers a total home-décor solution, providing kitchen and bathroom furnishings and interior door and wall systems. Hony Capital made a growth capital investment in this privately-held family business in June 2005 and has since helped professionalize Boloni's management. Hony implemented new governance systems, installed a world- class COO, and supported extensive geographic expansion. Boloni is slated for a promising 2008 IPO.

Solarfun is one of the leading photovoltaic (PV) companies in China , producing solar cells and modules. Solarfun listed on NASDAQ on December 21, 2006. Hony assisted Solarfun in spinning itself free of its larger parent company and built the business and team around the new Solarfun company. Hony conducted extensive team building, recruiting managers, division heads, and CXO executives. Hony spearheaded Solarfun's Nasdaq IPO, and continues to help Solarfun expand internationally.

After Hony's investment in Canmake , Hony helped the company successfully acquired one of its major competitor, Lam Soon packaging division, and become the largest EOE manufacturer in China, with over 50% market share in two piece and three piece aluminium easy open end market.
Hony invested in Canmake in Feb,2008. Company has changed its name to “China Metal Packaging Group Company Limited” on 29th day of February, 2008.
